Pigeons, what a common animal. Because they live in a big city like New York, they share high-rise buildings and heavy traffic with humans. When I was young, many people in my hometown Beijing were feeding flocks of pigeons. These little grey birds were smart, knew the route to destinations, and remembered where their home was. After moving to New York, I saw them again on the balcony of my place during the pandemic period in 2020. My inspiration of creation came from these pigeons, who often visited my place and got food.
